The service

Font Identifier provides free font-identification aids: visual comparison tools, a question-based font finder, and a browsable font library. The tools suggest candidate fonts from a curated library; suggestions are guidance, not guaranteed identification.

Acceptable use

You may use the site for any lawful purpose. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it aggressively in ways that degrade service for others, or misrepresent the site's output as something it is not.

Fonts and licensing

Fonts previewed on this site are served from Google Fonts and are subject to their own open licenses (mostly the SIL Open Font License). A font being free to preview or download does not automatically permit every commercial use — check the license of any font before using it in a commercial project.

No affiliation

This site is an independent project by FK Digital Media and is not affiliated with Google, MyFonts, Adobe, or any font foundry.

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for decisions you make based on font suggestions (for example, brand or licensing choices) — always verify a font's identity and license independently for important uses.
